When my dear Kiko was no longer there, the house became quiet. There were no more wagging tails at the door, no soft paws seeking out my lap. I missed him every day: his gaze, his warmth, his unconditional love.
I wanted to keep him not only in my heart, but also in something tangible, something that would capture her soul. That's how my first work of art came about: a tribute to Max.
